In order to get divorced you must be separated for at least 12 months. This can be under one roof but you will have to provide the court with evidence that you have been leading separate lives. All you need to get started is your marriage certificate from Services NSW if you don’t already have it. If there are no children under 18 there is no need for you to attend court but we can appear for you in court if necessary. We have a fixed fee of $1500 for your divorce if no children under 18 and no requirement for court appearances. Property and parenting are separate issues and you can start those processes at any stage after separation.
